ARTIST: M.E.D. (Mental Elastic Dynasty)

BIO: M.E.D. is a hip-hop group known for stretching the minds of their fans through melodic, thought provoking lyrics and bass heavy beats. The three-member group consists of Torben, The Mic Smith and Anagram hailing from Kalamazoo, MI. Each member of the group writes their own verses and collaborates collectively on the style, tone and direction of the music. Rapper Anagram says they are focused on building their own unique brand. Ò”We don’t sound, look or act like stereotypical rappers.” M.E.D. developed their unique style, cadence, and swagger articulating a flow that is fast, but smooth; conveying a sound that people can dance, sing and bounce to. Detroit based independent label Mobb North’s owner Frank Glass, discovered them while dining at a Kalamazoo restaurant.

M.E.D. is signed to Detroit’s own Mobb North Records. The track included is “Soundslike” to be released in 2012 on our upcoming mixtape titled “There They Go!” The video for “Soundslike” was featured on MTV’s RapFixLive “Get In The Game” in October, 2011.
